SP Cars
Privacy Policy
SP CARS respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website or rent a vehicle from us, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
SP CARS is a car rental company based in Kria Vrisi, Pella, Greece, and is the controller of your personal data. For any privacy question you can reach us using the contact details shown in the footer of this website.
What data we collect
We collect the data you provide when you book or rent a car: name, date of birth, phone, email, driver license details, pickup or delivery address, and payment details processed securely by our payment providers. We also keep the messages you send us and basic technical data about your visit to the website, such as IP address, browser and pages viewed.
Why we process your data
We process your data to prepare and perform the rental agreement, to take payments and security deposits, to comply with legal obligations such as tax and traffic rules, to answer your requests, and — only with your consent — to send you offers and to set optional cookies.
Who we share it with
We share data only where necessary: with payment providers to process payments, with our insurers in case of an accident, and with public authorities where the law requires it, for example for traffic fines. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Booking and invoicing records are kept for as long as the law requires — typically five years for tax records in Greece. Other data is kept only for as long as needed for the purposes described above and is then deleted.
Cookies
Our website uses necessary cookies for core functions such as language selection and the booking process, and optional analytics and marketing cookies only if you allow them. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr). To exercise any of these rights, simply contact us.
